the second thing that needs improvement is the little metal hook that holds the sidekick in closed position. we had to tie some tape onto the metal to insulate it for little hands. the sidekick handle cant be used on the double helix handlebar, which is a big problem because although my boy can theoretically hold on by the stroller handlebar, its metal and quite cold, and using it with mittens means that it is very slippery. its comfortable for my toddler (2,5 yrs) but it needs improvement. apart from these three things, my toddler is getting quite a kick out of his sidekick :) you should ideally take the sidekick off but this means that the practicality of it goes down the drain. the final thing is the fact that although the stroller closes with the sidekick, it makes it quite bulky. i wish the open-close system was easier because let's face it, you don't always have a nice clean flat surface to work on. i never manage to hook or unhook in one go although my husband seems to be able to. it is actually very difficult to hook and unhook it, especially with female hands and nails. the sidekick handle can't be used on the double helix handlebar, which is a big problem because although my boy can theoretically hold on by the stroller handlebar, its metal and quite cold, and using it with mittens means that it is very slippery.
